Haigh Elementary School

Haigh Halloween Parade ~ Thursday, October 31st @ 3pm

Hello Haigh Families!

We are excited to bring back our annual “Halloween Parade” at Haigh! This has been a long standing tradition at our building and is one of our favorites. As you know, the best part of this event is seeing all of the costumes, the smiles and happiness on everyone’s faces!

Parents are invited to join us outside on Thursday, October 31, beginning at 3:00pm. Students will parade around the Silvery Ln. City block in front of the school 1-2 times in their costumes (weather permitting.) K-2 students will do one lap around and 3-5 students will do 2 laps. Parents that are joining us, please stand near your child’s regular drop off/pick up location for pictures as the students walk by. This will ensure there are no large crowds in one location and allow for better pictures.

      Costume Rules:

  • No masks
  • No play weapons or accessories
  • No inflatable costumes
  • No costumes that are difficult for the student to get on/ off when using the bathroom

If parents are donating snacks to classrooms we kindly ask that they are “NUT FREE.”

ALL parents should plan to arrive by 3:00pm, as we will begin promptly at that time!

** If it rains, students will walk an indoor parade route. Parents will not be allowed to watch the indoor parade due to available space and safety of all students **
