Welcome Back, Owls! – 2025/26

I hope you and your family had a wonderful summer full of great memories. We sure did miss all of you… The entire Haigh staff is excited to welcome our students back and continue to build on all the great work from last year!

Join Us for Open House!

Friday, August 22nd | 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM

This year, the building will be open for you to meet the teachers and help your child get acquainted with their new classroom and their designated arrival/dismissal door. We’ve found this “practice run” is a great way to ease first-day jitters.

Teacher assignments will be emailed to you on the morning of Open House, August 22nd.

Important Details:

A new addition to Haigh and Dearborn Public Schools this year is ParentSquare! Everyone should have received an email or text at this point enrolling them in our schools portal. This will be our new platform used to send out building level communications. This new system will help streamline communication, especially for parents who have students in multiple buildings across the district. Please take a few minutes to review the Parent Square guidance document below.

Parent Square Overview

The app will automatically default to having notifications sent as a summary at the end of the day, each user will need to manually go in and update their preferences to have notifications pushed to their text or email immediately as we send them out.
