Good afternoon Haigh Community,
First, I would like to thank everyone for their teamwork and support in ensuring that all of our Owls have had a great start to the school year.
With that said, I would like to provide a few reminders about arrival and dismissal parking. I know that this time can be very congested, it is so important that we are all coming with patience and understanding of safe and lawful driving practices to ensure the safety of everyone during this time.
- At no time can parents park in/or in front of neighboring houses driveways
- At no time can parents park in a crosswalk or in front of the cones that are designated for bus pickup
- If you are crossing the street – PLEASE go to a designated crosswalk (walking across the middle of the street is unsafe and is teaching our young Owls unsafe practices)
- PLEASE BE PATIENT! ~ We have a lot of students to get out of the building in a short amount of time, so your patience and support is GREATLY appreciated
As shared at the beginning of the year, we will be piloting a new dismissal program that we begin in October, we are in the process of finalizing all of our plans with the partnering company at this time. This will hopefully help ease some of the struggles with limited parking availability. More information will be shared in regard to the new plan at the end of September.
