Good Morning Haigh Community,
I wanted to take the time to thank everyone for your kind words, gifts, and conversations over the last 9 months. Since my first day at Haigh, I could tell that the community was very involved with your students’ education, supportive of our staff, and most importantly, you want Haigh to be a fun and inviting place for your student to attend. I have made it my goal to shape the culture with this idea in mind, ” Haigh School will be an elementary school that hosts many fun events and activities, and also provides a top notch education with many types of engaging lessons, use of modern technology, and the foundational tools necessary for success in life”. I truly feel that together we are achieving this goal and making Haigh a great school 🙂 As many of you know, my wife and I are now very proud parents of a 7 pound, 7 ounce baby boy! We named him “Jackson Tyler Short”. Everything is going very well at home and Jackson and my wife are doing well with their health 🙂 We were overwhelmed by the kindness from the community and have enjoyed many of the letters and gifts that were shared. Thank you again for making Haigh such a great place to work, and for all of your support and kind words over the past 9 months. Please have a great weekend with friends and family,
